• Cashew steaming / cashew roasting helps to separate shell and kernel easily by losing out the stickiness between shell and kernel for easy scooping.
• After steaming, the nuts are air cured by spreading out on the floor in the shade. This hardens the shell and becomes suitable enough for shelling.
